Seeing this, Lord Tianhe couldn't help chuckling.
He pointed at Xuanyan, then looked at Tiange and teased, "Xuanyan's asking you: since I've already given Lin Yi the Qingcang Ship, is there anything you, as the one who recommended him, want to have him take in for Lin Yi too?"
At that, Tiange's face immediately darkened.
He glared at Tianhe and said irritably, "You know what I'm like. I'm a loner, with no younger family members to look after and no faction to manage. I use pretty much all the resources I have to improve my strength and study secret arts. Where would I find anything suitable to send into the Secret Realm?"
"Still..." Tiange pondered for a moment, then continued, "How about this? I don't have anything to give him, but I can offer him an opportunity."
"An opportunity?"
Xuanyan raised an eyebrow.
"One chance to enter the Myriad Weapon Tomb."
Tiange spoke slowly. His voice was quiet, but Xuanyan and Tianhe's eyes lit up at the same time.
Xuanyan responded almost immediately.
"Good! Tiange, it's settled!"
Tianhe clicked his tongue twice in surprise. "That's quite a sacrifice. If I remember correctly, opening the Myriad Weapon Tomb once consumes the power of the Death Source Law accumulated inside your Nirvana Stone Spear, doesn't it? You've nurtured that thing for countless epochs and usually treasure it like nothing else. I can't believe you're willing to part with it this time."
"What's there to be unwilling about?"
Tiange looked calm, as if they weren't talking about his treasured reserves. "I didn't want to open it before because those fellows weren't talented enough to be worth the effort. Sending them in would've wasted time, and they would've gained little."
Xuanyan laughed. "That makes sense, Tiange. True resources should go where they're best used.
