Australia's Beast Tide might have been a simple Beast Tide at the beginning, but as it continued and cities steadily fell, the intelligence of Mutant Creatures rose through constant evolution.
Gradually, this Beast Tide became less and less pure. Some powerful Mutant Creatures began ruling their respective races and even joined forces, treating humanity as their common enemy.
Present-day Australia was like the former Balang. The difference was that Australia had a First Sequence who could grant its Survivors one final Pure Land, while Balang had nothing. Even its resolve to make a desperate final stand had faded because of its longing for the peace under Mutant Creature rule.
They were not particularly anxious about this. Whether it was them or Australia's humans, both knew that their current stalemate was merely something they could force themselves to maintain for a while.
In the not-too-distant future, after the extreme suppression reached its limit, they would ultimately erupt, and a new great war would begin.
Even with a First Sequence, this war was bound to end in victory for the Mutant Creatures.
