Outside the medical pod, behind the one-way transparent observation window.
He stood silently, his hands naturally folded before him, his unblinking gaze fixed on the figure inside the medical pod as he slowly opened his eyes.
There was not a trace of unnecessary expression on his face, only an almost harsh focus.
A medical officer in a white medical robe, his hair streaked with gray, was reporting to him in a low voice:
"Deputy Minister, General Lufa's physiological indicators have basically recovered. We have repaired 97.3% of his bodily injuries, including multiple comminuted fractures, ruptured internal organs, and severe energy corrosion wounds."
"Only some deep cellular activity still requires time to recover naturally."
The medical officer paused, glancing at the brainwave chart on the screen beside him. It was still somewhat disordered, but no longer in its initial violent state. His tone grew more solemn:
"However, before awakening, the general's mental and brainwave activity remained in an extremely chaotic, high-load state for an extended period. The peak even exceeded the limits of our existing monitoring equipment."
"Although it has now stabilized, this pattern of violent fluctuation does not match any known post-traumatic stress or brain injury pattern."
"Our preliminary judgment is that the general's mental state may have been affected by something unknown and profoundly severe."
"We cannot rule out lingering effects from some form of mental attack or information contamination left behind by that intruder. Further deep mental scans and evaluations will be required."
He gave a slight nod to indicate that he understood.
His gaze remained fixed on the medical pod.
Only when Lufa's eyes finally seemed to gather a trace of focus from that emptiness and confusion, slowly shifting as though adapting to his surroundings, did he move.
He reached out and lightly pressed a communication button
