Ancestral Taotie narrowed its eyes blissfully, letting out a series of soft purrs from its throat.

Then it vigorously rubbed its head against Yao Yao's palm.

That closeness had not been nurtured after birth.

It was carved into its bones, instinctive, destined from the moment it was born.

It had formed from the remnants of the Divine Stone that had nurtured Yao Yao. The origin power flowing within it was nearly of the same source as hers.

"What is your name?"

Yao Yao asked softly.
