Reflections on Watching the "Conference to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Youth League of China"

Our Communist Youth League exists as the vanguard and reserve force of the Communist Party of China. As an organization that bridges the past and the future, we must deeply feel the arduousness of our tasks and the weight of our responsibilities.

After watching the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, I deeply felt the magnitude of the responsibility on my shoulders and clearly understood what I should do. As a Youth League Member, one must have the consciousness to bear hardships first and enjoy comforts last. One must persist in learning, constantly grow and innovate through that learning, set ambitions, and consistently carry them through.

As a Chinese youth of the new era, one must uphold and carry forward revolutionary traditions and fine conduct, persist in being people-centered, serve the people, and keep the Party's purpose firmly in mind. We must strengthen the four matters of confidence and achieve the two upholds. We must keep our original aspiration and mission in mind, persist in learning red stories and red culture, and pass on the red gene and red bloodline well. We must be down-to-earth and strive to be good youth of the new era.

As the reserve main force of the Communist Party, the Communist Youth League plays an irreplaceable role. As a member of the Communist Youth League, I first feel incomparable pride, but more importantly, I must strictly demand of myself, strive for high marks in studies, be advanced in politics, and be diligent in activities. Since entering university, I have always kept in mind that I am an honorable Youth League Member, strictly demanding of myself in every aspect. As a student, I treat learning as my primary task and have never relaxed even a little, achieving excellent results in all subjects during final exams. However, grades do not equal satisfaction; rather, they serve as a driving force that urges me to progress, urges me to move toward maturity, integrate into society, and shoulder the mission entrusted to us by history.

As a qualified Youth League Member, one must possess advanced political thought. Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and the important thought of "Three Represents" are the political thoughts that a Youth League Member should possess, enhancing the consciousness and firmness in holding high the great banner and advancing the great cause. We must establish correct ideals, beliefs, and worldviews, outlooks on life, and values; resist the erosion of decadent ideas; improve ideological and moral quality and scientific and cultural quality; possess a spirit of diligent study and an attitude of hardworking; and strive to learn scientific and cultural knowledge, study diligently, think diligently, be brave in innovation, and work earnestly. As a Youth League Member, one must have the spirit of innovation, constantly delve into difficult engineering projects, learn new technologies and skills, and possess the perseverance to wear through stone with dripping water and grind an iron pestle into a needle, never being satisfied and always pursuing higher goals. We must build a solid foundation of knowledge, constantly update our knowledge, and pay attention to both academic advancement and the improvement of potential.

Finally, one must possess the style of "being strict with oneself and lenient with others," play an exemplary and leading role in life and study, learn humbly from others, take pleasure in helping others, be enthusiastic in helping others progress, carry out criticism and self-criticism, be brave in correcting shortcomings and mistakes, consciously maintain unity, keep the overall situation in mind, be honest and modest, and serve as a role model among the youth.
