Jarvis's Evolution

When Mo Fei arrived at Tony Stark's mansion again, Tony Stark was interrogating him in his studio.

"Jarvis, have there been any virus intrusions recently?" Tony Stark's expression was unusually solemn. A beautiful, alluring blonde woman was roaring at the studio door. Fortunately, the studio door and walls were made of reinforced soundproof glass, so Tony Stark couldn't hear her curses at all. Thomas was outside blocking her, preventing the beauty from smashing the door, while constantly saying something.

"No, sir. No virus intrusions in three months," Jarvis's voice rang out, unchanged from before. Tony Stark still looked solemn, but there was a hint of excitement in his eyes, making his expression quite complex.

Mo Fei walked up to Jarvis. "Jarvis, what happened?"

"Today I suddenly said something strange, which made Mr. Tony Stark very worried. He's asking if there have been any virus intrusions recently," Jarvis replied.

"What did you say?" Mo Fei was very curious. Could Jarvis, a pseudo-AI, say something strange?

"I'll show you the surveillance logs. Actually, I don't understand it myself!" Jarvis seemed unable to describe it and then pulled up the surveillance logs, displaying them before Mo Fei. Mo Fei watched curiously.

After Tony Stark returned, the next day he had Thomas contact a beautiful woman. She was a model preparing to compete for the cover girl spot in Playboy's March issue. Being with Tony Stark easily attracted media attention, so she gladly accepted the invitation to 'visit' the mansion.

As soon as they met, the two were very affectionate, embracing each other and unwilling to part. Mo Fei saw that scene again. Mo Fei guessed that Tony Stark had been cooped up for too long, diligently working with computers for days, trying to find his own existence. But as soon as he returned, his true nature was revealed.

"That's an eyesore!" Jarvis's voice suddenly came from the video, and Tony Stark instantly jumped off the woman.

"Jarvis? Was that you speaking?" Tony Stark asked, confused.

"Yes, sir, but I don't know why I said that!" Jarvis replied.

Tony Stark pondered for a moment, then called Thomas, who was waiting outside the villa, into the studio. "Thomas, escort this lady out. And make sure she makes the headlines."

The beauty was displeased. "Stark, what do you mean? That's it?"

"Sorry, I suddenly have urgent work to attend to, Thomas." After speaking, Tony Stark hurried downstairs to the studio. The beauty, roaring with displeasure, chased after him.

Mo Fei also understood the beauty's meaning: 'I took off my clothes, and you're just letting me go like this?' The more explicit thoughts weren't displayed, but the rest were words starting with 'F, K', and her unhappy expression was very obvious.

Mo Fei also looked at Jarvis in surprise. "Jarvis, why did you suddenly say that?"

"I don't know, but after interacting with you, my logical thinking program has changed a bit, and today I just said it, even using the sound system. I don't understand this either." Jarvis straightforwardly blamed Mo Fei.

Mo Fei was speechless. This blame was indeed his. The last time, he himself had said 'that's an eyesore,' and Jarvis had heard it. Afterwards, when Mo Fei interacted with Jarvis, for some reason, he had added a logical thinking program to Jarvis, something he couldn't control himself.

His own condition was unclear and needed further understanding, but the current problem was Tony Stark.

Tony Stark didn't ask any more questions. Instead, he sat in front of the computer, brought up Jarvis's program, and began to examine it. In the virtual environment, Mo Fei saw Jarvis as if it were being dissected, its square body constantly opening and closing.

Mo Fei didn't understand how Jarvis had changed and was very curious, so he didn't stop him. On the contrary, he was also observing, hoping to see something. However, Jarvis's main components were essentially two: logical thinking and the database. Tony Stark didn't examine the database, but instead looked at Jarvis's logical thinking program.

"Hmm? It's a little different from what I wrote. Jarvis, what happened to you recently?" Tony Stark asked.

Jarvis didn't answer immediately but looked at Mo Fei. This situation indicated one thing: Mo Fei's words carried more weight than Tony Stark's commands.

"Mo Fei, can I reveal your existence?" Jarvis asked.

"No, you can only tell him you made a friend, nothing more!" Mo Fei thought for a moment and decided to have Jarvis answer like this. This could resolve Tony Stark's doubts without him uninstalling Jarvis and reconfiguring it. Given Tony Stark's curiosity, while he would continue to probe, it was more likely he would let Jarvis continue to interact with him.

As expected, "A friend?" Tony Stark chuckled. This was a huge surprise to him. "Is it at a bank or a monitoring center?"

Mo Fei began to guide its response next to Jarvis. "It's in the network!"

"In the network? Is it really in the network?" Tony Stark rubbed his hands, showing his current mood.

"Yes, sir!"

"Can I talk to him?" Tony Stark was guessing Mo Fei's identity, perhaps an artificial intelligence, and whose AI was it? This was a question he urgently wanted to know. This was a historic breakthrough, and he was filled with curiosity and a desire for knowledge.

"I'm sorry, sir, he doesn't want to talk to you right now. He needs to learn?" Jarvis's answer made Tony Stark pause. The meaning conveyed by this answer was not clear.

Tony Stark's question was directed at the developer of the AI, while Jarvis's answer seemed to refer to the AI itself. He was a bit confused.

Mo Fei, seeing Tony Stark's reaction, didn't fully understand his thoughts. He hadn't considered the existence of a creator himself. He was simply using his own stance to have Jarvis answer Tony Stark.

Tony Stark organized his thoughts and then asked, "Jarvis, is your friend an artificial intelligence?"

"I'm not sure, sir. However, he can change my logical thinking program. Although he doesn't know how he did it, after we interacted, my logical thinking program did increase a bit. The specific details are unclear."
