Murphy had acquired the technology, but designing a factory involved many considerations: the intake and storage of raw materials, production processes, maximum utilization per unit of time, and more. Everything had to be efficient and well organized.

The layout of the water and electrical lines was equally important. If they were only producing wheel hubs, everything would be simple. However, Murphy hoped to introduce automated welding lines in the future, making it easier for him to control those production lines for his own purposes. Considering future products in advance was therefore crucial.

"Jack, automated production doesn't require much space. That means we can introduce new products in the future as well. Do you have any ideas?" After returning to New York, Murphy spoke with Jack again. Meanwhile, the factory was still being cleared out, and the underground pipes had been dug up.

The water and electrical lines there had been installed over twenty years ago and were already outdated, making them unsuitable for the new factory. Replacing everything at once would better serve the new factory's interests.
