Ghost Industries' job listings had gone out. The new factory office building was a three-story steel-frame structure. It was simply more refined than the workshop, and the interior decor and exterior paint made it impossible to tell it was a prefabricated building.

More than two hundred workers had all been assigned, but there was an extreme shortage of administrative staff. After all, many of the former employees had already found new jobs, and they had an easier time finding work than the laborers.

Old John calculated the staffing shortage and reported it to Jack. Roy had gone traveling with his wife and left his son in Jack's care, so Jack had become busy. "John, find me an assistant. I don't know anything—I need someone to help me!"

"Understood. Don't worry, Jack, I'll find you a good assistant. Do you have any other requirements?" Old John had no ulterior motives, such as trying to sideline a chairman who knew nothing. He would never do that.

He had feelings for the factory, and he was already getting on in years. He probably would not be able to work for many more years before retiring. If the factory developed well, then his pension would be secure. Helping the chairman learn management was important.

"No requirements. Whoever you think is suitable will do." Jack did not understand, so he could only entrust the selection to Old John.

Maria Hill was the first to receive the news. She immediately went to dye her hair. Jack's ex-wife had been blonde, so she dyed hers dark brown instead. Then she put on a professional business outfit, choosing a skirt suit. With black-rimmed nonprescription glasses and her hair pinned up, combined with her looks and figure, a professional beauty was born.
