Turning her head, Gladiia glanced at Skadi and Laurentina lying beside her and could not help but sigh. It seemed she had embarrassed herself again. Those unsightly scenes had probably all been witnessed by her former teammates. If this had been in the past, Gladiia would have flown into a rage by now. With the pride she once possessed, she definitely would not have let this go.

Yet now, Gladiia seemed remarkably calm, surprising even herself. She even discovered a faint sense of relief deep within her heart, as though doing this meant she had finally completely integrated into this little group.

"Now, the bloodlines of the Abyssal Hunters are truly connected..." Gladiia murmured as she watched Skadi and Laurentina sleep.

Unable to resist, she reached up and touched her neck. The raw, itchy area had recovered once more, and even the scales had disappeared, as though the process of turning into a Seaborn had merely been her imagination.
