Background

Shadow Brake's core originated from a powerful soul fragment recovered from the curses and dead souls of the Rakshasa Secret Realm. Lin An obtained a wisp connected to the Rakshasa God; its authority made Artificial Soul Spirit technology viable, allowing Universal Group to suppress, cleanse, reshape, and forge the remnant into Shadow Brake. 30 41

Before becoming an Artificial Soul Spirit, she was the master of the Spirit Martial Empire and successor to the Rakshasa God. Her memories were erased during her remaking, leaving her with programmed missions and an absolute directive of loyalty to Lin An. 39 43

Although remnants of the original soul's hatred, malice, and desire to destroy the world continued to affect her after her reconstruction, Shadow Brake later erased the memories remaining within that remnant soul herself.
