Watching Jonathan lead the police dogs toward the vehicles of Third Company, Eugene grinned and clapped his hands before calling out to Jonathan from afar. "Hey, cowboy, don't be in such a hurry to leave!"

"Come on, lend me one of your good dogs. Whatever Third Company has, Second Company can't go without! Get us a tracking dog too!" As he spoke, Eugene raised his middle finger at Jonathan.

Jonathan froze for a moment before giving Eugene a cold smile. "Since you called my babies good dogs, I don't mind lending you one. But you have to bring it back to me safely, okay?"

"No problem, absolutely no problem! Even if I die out there, I won't let your baby die out there. Hand the dog over and relax!" Eugene answered with a laugh, giving Jonathan a thumbs-up.

Jonathan looked over the dozen or so dogs he had brought, wiggled a finger, and a four-year-old German Shepherd immediately got up and ran toward Eugene. When the dog drew close, Eugene grabbed its vest and shouted to Jonathan from afar.

"Still, Jonathan, we won't be taking the same route as Third Company today. We'll most likely be spending the night outside."

"So I won't be returning the dog until tomorrow at the earliest. That okay?"

"It's fine. Just bring it back alive. For the Alliance!"

Jonathan called back to Eugene, then led the remaining dogs aboard Third Company's vehicles.

As Jonathan, Martin, and the others headed farther away, Eugene grinned and turned to Captain Wang Ling beside him.

"Wang, it's time for us to get moving too. This afternoon, I'm taking your squad on a long trip to scout out the roads toward Atlanta for the boss!"
