I know a lot of the big shots who've been reading my work since the last book get annoyed by Shi Jiu's standalone chapters, especially the ones where I ask for a day off (scratches head).
So I wanted to chat with you all about this book in my premium announcement.
Well, how do I put it?
This book's performance is about as awkward to bring up as Lin Shu's "comprehension."
In short, I've been writing Imitating Ten Thousand Demons for almost a month, and its highest follow count was on the very first day after it launched.
On April 3, it had around twenty thousand favorites. I estimated that meant about eight thousand follows.
Erm, the next day that was cut in half, down to roughly four thousand.
And now it's got seventy thousand favorites, but its follow count has stayed at that same number for a whole month.
The big shots who know the business probably understand what that means.
Normally, after writing for a month, someone with a fragile heart would've already fallen apart.
But actually, I'm doing okay... I think.
Because I'd prepared myself before launching the book.
There are actually a lot of problems.
The biggest one, and the reason I delayed starting a new book for so long, is that I felt I'd learned a lot from my last one.
