Spider-Man Watches the Battle, Punches Hulk Away (Seeking Follow-ups! Seeking Monthly Tickets!)
Locke's body fell into the pit of flesh and blood, slowly sinking downward.
His face was pale, his expression filled with terror.
He knew that if it were merely a Mutant with great power who had escaped, it wouldn't be a major issue.
But what if this Mutant possessed not only great power but also an indomitable will?
Locke dared not dwell on such a thought.
Because in the past, such things were truly rare for him to encounter.
Yet today, he had seen exactly such a person.
Not only did he possess great power, but he also held that formidable will.
This caused Captain Locke's heart to tremble.
Lynn stood at the edge of the pit, watching Captain Locke gradually sink into the flesh and blood, his face devoid of the slightest expression.
Right now, his Sharingan's ocular power was not yet strong enough, and he hadn't broken through to Magnetic Field Rotation.
Therefore, he could not perform brainwashing or control others.
Otherwise, he could have made good use of the guy before him.
Lynn shook his head internally, sweeping away these chaotic thoughts.
He turned his head to look at the Mutant children nearby.
They were all staring fixedly at Locke as he sank into the pit.
This pit of flesh and blood had been exposed after the hill at Base 10 was bombed, and then dug out by these Mutant children.
It contained many bones and rotting flesh of Mutants.
The stench was unbearable.
Yet even so, the group of Mutant children remained standing there, watching Locke until he sank into the pit.
Lynn could see that the depths of these Mutant children's eyes were filled with hatred.
Clearly, they were all just like him.
After leading these Mutant children outside the perimeter of the destroyed Base 10, Lynn had them leave quickly.
After all, he was only one person; if he were to face a Level 4 Mutant, or even one above Level 4.
For instance, Magneto, or Professor X and that Phoenix, Jean Grey, and so on.
If he encountered these people, he could barely protect himself.
Not to mention that the Marvel Universe held other dangers, both large and small.
Such as Galactus, Captain Marvel, Sentry, and so on.
Every one of these guys was a hundred or even a thousand times stronger than Lynn was now.
Although he wasn't sure if these people would stop him.
But Lynn knew that he had to become stronger.
Just as he was preparing to leave, Wolverine Logan walked up to him, limping.
Logan looked at the man before him who wore Captain Locke's face, and an expression of astonishment immediately appeared on his face.
His heart skipped a beat; could it be that the Captain Locke from just a moment ago also possessed some kind of superpower?
Wolverine Logan asked cautiously:
"Are you..."
"You can call me... Locke," Lynn said indifferently.
There was magic in Marvel, and the effects of some of those spells were extremely bizarre.
As long as they knew your name, they could teleport you away or even place a direct curse upon you.
Lynn didn't want to end up inexplicably hit by someone else's magic.
So, it was better to use the name Locke.
"Locke..."
Seeing that Lynn had all his limbs intact and wasn't attacking him like that Captain Locke had, Wolverine Logan nodded as well.
"That's a good name," he said with a nod. "Mutant Locke, leading us Mutants to build the Locke Kingdom in the future... a good name."
Lynn: "..."
Locke Kingdom... what a talent.
This Wolverine Logan also seemed like a person of world-shaking wisdom.
Just as the two were conversing.
A figure darted through the woods and landed directly on a branch beside them.
"Let me see, a big guy, and... oh, Mr. Wolverine, what are you doing here? You and Sabretooth are both characters I quite like, you know..."
This incessant rambling could only be Deadpool or Spider-Man.
Deadpool shouldn't be in New York right now, so it had to be the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Lynn looked up and, sure enough, saw Spider-Man hanging from a tree branch, dressed in his red, blue, and black spider-suit.
"Peter Parker, what are you doing here looking for us?" He asked, his brows slightly furrowed.
Spider-Man: "..."
Wait, no, you just took one look at me and knew my name?
Are you hacking?
"Uh... I'm Spider-Man, who is Peter Parker? Are you mistaking me for someone else? Or is there something between you and Peter Parker..."
Spider-Man tried to cover up the fact that he was Peter Parker.
But his words were cut short by Lynn.
"Listen, Peter Parker, I don't have that much time to chatter with you here."
Lynn lifted his resolute face slightly, the sunlight fully illuminating his masculine features.
"Are you here to watch the show, or to capture us?"
The words were filled with the scent of gunpowder.
Spider-Man swallowed hard.
His spider-sense made him feel that the guy in front of him wasn't human at all.
It was as if he were facing an orca swimming in the deep sea.
One slight misstep, and he would be devoured.
"I was just passing by and wanted to ask," Spider-Man said quickly.
He had been swinging through New York City looking for traces of Sandman, but he had heard a massive noise outside the city.
He had rushed over, only to run into Wolverine and this... this man who felt like an orca.
"There's nothing to ask." Lynn turned his head to look toward the front left, his brows knitting together.
"Spider-Man isn't needed here."
In the woods to the front left, a man and a woman slowly walked out.
The woman wore a pitch-black bodysuit that accentuated her curves, her red hair contrasting against her fair skin.
The man was not particularly tall, around five-foot-nine, with a lean build and a slightly faded light gray oxford shirt.
He wore black-rimmed glasses and looked quite polite.
"Who are you..." Logan asked, looking at the two of them, bewildered.
Black Widow stepped forward, pulled out an ID, and said:
"We are the FBI..."
"S.H.I.E.L.D. agents."
Before she could finish, Lynn interrupted her.
Black Widow's pupils constricted slightly as she looked at Lynn, whose appearance was vastly different from before, noting his abilities in her mind before smiling.
"That's right, we are S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. We've come to find you this time for the sake of America's safety."
"America's safety?" Lynn raised an eyebrow.
"Yes." Black Widow Natasha nodded. "S.H.I.E.L.D. has always made ensuring the safety of America our goal and purpose, working hard across the land of America."
"Then can you guarantee the safety of us Mutants?" Lynn curled his lips, asking a sarcastic question.
Hearing Lynn's words, Black Widow fell silent.
Although she knew about the issues between Mutants and ordinary people, she was also clear that S.H.I.E.L.D. would never help Mutants.
"Just as I thought. In that case, you should leave."
As soon as Lynn finished speaking, he prepared to turn into a blur and leave the area.
However.
"Stop him!" Black Widow hurriedly shouted to Bruce Banner beside her.
Although Bruce Banner felt a sense of dread in his heart, he still blocked Lynn's path.
He thought of things that made him angry, and the intense emotions immediately caused his body to begin to expand.
His muscles swelled up like balloons.
His clothes were instantly shredded, revealing skin of an incredibly deep green.
In an instant, he transformed into the three-meter-tall Hulk, his muscles knotted and thick veins coiling across his body like pythons, radiating a ferocious aura.
"ROAR!!"
Hulk let out a thunderous roar and reached out to grab the man before him.
Lynn frowned, clenched his right fist, and threw a fierce punch.
BOOM!!
An immense force erupted in an instant, sending Hulk flying backward.
