"No, I can't infiltrate the base headquarters."
After thinking it over carefully, Lynn furrowed his brow slightly.
He abandoned his plan to disguise himself as Locke and infiltrate the base headquarters.
"Judging by how they've managed to find me several times, the base must have a special way of tracking Mutants."
Lynn's mind raced as his Astonishing Wisdom began to consider the problem.
"So if I rashly infiltrate one of those base headquarters, I could be walking straight into a trap."
Lynn had no idea what method the base used to track him.
But it was probably either DNA testing or detecting the Mutant energy within him.
"I need to find a way to deal with being tracked, or else get someone else to infiltrate the base headquarters for me."
As it happened, the power of his Mangekyō Sharingan had grown even stronger, allowing him to control others without them noticing.
Perhaps the next time the base headquarters sent people out,
he could use genjutsu to control some of them and then get more information about the base.

The footage of Locke's armed forces attempting to capture Subject 52 was transmitted to the base headquarters the moment the armored vehicles and other equipment were blown to pieces.
Black Skull sat in his office, watching the footage that had just come in.
Knock, knock, knock!
Before he could even play the footage, someone knocked on the office door.
A blonde, blue-eyed woman wearing a black business suit walked in.
"Commander Black Skull, we've found Professor X and the others. Should we...?"
"Sheena, leave the Mutants from the X-Mansion alone for now," Black Skull said.
"Then..." Sheena came to Black Skull's desk, looking hesitant.
"What about Magneto and his people? It seems they're targeting Subject 52, just like Professor X and the others."
If S.H.I.E.L.D. could detect Magneto's movements, then an organization like theirs, which focused on Mutants, could do so all the more easily.
Magneto, Professor X, and certain other Mutants were all under close surveillance by the base.
Even the slightest movement would draw the attention of organizations like theirs.
"Oh? They're all after Subject 52?"
Black Skull raised an eyebrow.
He had just been about to play the footage of Locke and his people fighting Subject 52.
He hadn't expected to hear that both Magneto and Professor X wanted to find Subject 52.
Was there something about Subject 52 that attracted those two?
Black Skull shook his head. He didn't think so.
He already knew what Subject 52 was capable of.
Even if he had some other hidden abilities, he was still nothing more than a slightly bigger ant.
Perhaps he had something Magneto and Professor X needed.
With that thought, Black Skull opened the footage they had received.
On-screen, more than ten thousand rounds from the CIWS, countless missiles launched by the Patriot Missile System, and the Sentinel Robots and Armed Fighter Jets all sprang into action.
The moment they opened fire, they bombarded the hill where Base 10 stood, reducing it to rubble.
Seeing this, Black Skull furrowed his brow.
"Locke actually wiped out Base 10 and Subject 52 in one go... He was far too reckless."
Mutants like Subject 52 might not have powerful abilities, but they were still test subjects for the base.
They had some value.
Not to mention, Base 10 had plenty of other test subjects, experimental equipment, and research data.
Locke had charged in and unleashed all his firepower right away. That infuriated Black Skull.
However,
when the smoke cleared and he saw Subject 52 standing unharmed, along with several identical copies of him, Black Skull shot to his feet.
His eyes narrowed sharply, and delight spread across his face.
"Clones? Subject 52 can make clones?!"
Black Skull's voice brimmed with excitement.
He had assumed Subject 52 only had ordinary abilities like shooting electricity or breathing fire.
He hadn't expected Subject 52 to be able to produce so many clones.
Wouldn't that ability allow them to obtain a steady supply of test subjects?
They could even use it to accomplish much more.
At the thought, Black Skull's excitement grew stronger and stronger.
Even seeing Lynn unleash a white shockwave that wiped out the entire armed force didn't shake his confidence.
After all, in his eyes, the destruction Lynn had caused was nowhere near the level of a Level Four Mutant.
Destroying a single armed force simply wasn't impressive enough.
Compared to Subject 01 and Subject 07, who could destroy entire cities, he was nothing.
With Subject 01's younger brother, the Mutant Subject 03, his psychic abilities alone would probably be enough to deal with Subject 52.
Excited, Black Skull picked up the communicator on his desk.
"Will and Subject 03 are near New York. Have him take Subject 03 there at once. I want to see Subject 52 as soon as possible.
"Preferably alive. A corpse will do, but it has to be fresh!"
Professor X hadn't yet heard back from Cyclops and the others about the Mutant they were looking for.
But he had seen a black-and-gold figure unleash a terrifying white shockwave and wipe out an armed force.
Countless modern weapons had exploded with horrifying force in an instant.
The blasts had even left a terrible crater more than seventy meters across.
To Professor X, this level of destruction was nothing compared to Magneto's attempt to alter Earth's magnetic poles.
And yet it still filled him with fear, because it was a sign that the apocalypse was coming.
He hurriedly used his psychic powers to contact Cyclops and the others, who were still out in the field.
"What's wrong, Professor Charles?"
Cyclops's voice sounded in his mind.
Professor X took a deep breath and said,
"Scott, hurry and find him. I can see the future more and more clearly now.
"If we don't control his power, the world really will be destroyed."
Scott had been about to say something, but then he saw the image Professor X had sent into his mind.
It showed a tall, muscular man charging forward at incredible speed.
Then the man clenched his right fist and punched ahead.
When Cyclops saw the terrifying, high-pressure white shockwave, he froze.
How much force would it take to punch the air hard enough to create a shockwave?
Professor X said gravely,
"You saw it too, didn't you? We have to find him as soon as possible. The consequences could be unthinkable."
Lynn knew nothing of Black Skull's or Professor X's thoughts.
He was sitting in a hotel, trying to use his expanding Observation Haki and his own heart to sense the world around him.
Through his Observation Haki and the Perfect Realm's control over power,
he could clearly sense every free-floating particle in the air.
He couldn't change the structure of those particles to suit his wishes.
But by studying their structure, he could use them as a reference to create his own martial arts techniques.
"What would happen if I used my Purest Power to compress these particles as much as possible?"
Just then, Lynn suddenly sensed that someone was watching him.
He turned toward the window.
There, he saw a man holding a sniper rifle, giving him a thumbs-up.
