Second Pillar was just about to close his eyes to rest when he saw wisps of golden electricity emerging around Lynn Uchiha.
Those golden currents swirled in the air, and a suction force gradually began to pull debris and dust from the floor into the air.
Sasuke froze, his eyes staring blankly at the scene before him.
What... what on earth was this?
Ninjutsu?
Or some new form of body-flicker taijutsu?
This was the first time Second Pillar had ever witnessed such a phenomenon.
He knew Lightning Style Ninjutsu, and he had seen others perform it before.
But the situation unfolding with Lynn Uchiha left him truly bewildered.
Suddenly, a thin bolt of golden electricity slammed violently into the tatami floor.
BOOM!
The solid stone slab beneath the tatami was punched through, leaving a hole the size of a fist.
"It's done! I finally did it, damn it!"
Seeing this, cold sweat began to bead on Second Pillar's forehead.
He began to scoot his body, retreating under the bed.
He wrapped his arms around himself, curling his body up tightly.
Not long after, Lynn Uchiha's roar came from above again.
"Rotate! Damn your Astonishing Wisdom, rotate for me, mouth-teeth!"
Listening to the sounds coming from the bed, Second Pillar shivered uncontrollably.
His face was filled with a dull, horrified expression.
Why was this happening?
Damn it, why had the world turned into this?
He felt that ever since the night of the Uchiha Clan Downfall, the entire world had started to become abnormal.
Had he, Second Pillar, gone mad?
Or was it...
Was the world itself that had gone mad?
After patting his head with his hand, Lynn felt his Astonishing Wisdom rotating faster than before.
As expected.
When the brain didn't need to use so many brain cells, the developed ones would naturally slack off.
He still needed to use his brain more, to get those brain cells spinning.
Only then would Astonishing Wisdom emerge!
Just now, while Astonishing Wisdom was rotating, Lynn had figured out how to strengthen his own spiritual magnetic field.
After all, the generation of a magnetic field came from the directional movement of electric current.
When the current began to move in a regular pattern, a magnetic field would be produced from it.
Lynn Uchiha had noticed exactly this.
So, he began to rotate his current, thereby generating a powerful magnetic field that began to influence his brain.
And his spiritual magnetic field also began to grow stronger, bit by bit.
The night was silent, and it soon passed amidst the pitter-patter of rain.
Bright sunlight shone in through the window.
Lynn Uchiha slowly opened his eyes and expanded his perception.
After a night of rotating currents to increase his magnetic field, his perception could now cover a range of several hundred meters.
A smile immediately appeared on Lynn Uchiha's face.
"A perception of several hundred meters—it's several times greater than before, and I seem to have discovered the opportunity to break through in Magnetic Field Rotation."
Right now, he felt his spirit was better than it had ever been.
"It's just a pity that the speed of my current rotation has reached its limit. If I could break through this limit, the magnetic field produced would become even more powerful."
Speaking of which, Lynn Uchiha suddenly thought of Magnetic Field Rotation.
Perhaps, once the speed of his current rotation became faster, causing the friction of his cells to break through a critical point, he would be able to transcend to the next level of Magnetic Field Rotation?
"Kakashi, they are at that inn just ahead."
On the roof of a building.
Three agile ninjas gazed at the inn a few hundred meters away, their expressions vigilant.
"The target of this mission is the rogue ninja Lynn Uchiha, who slaughtered the Uchiha Clan," Hatake Kakashi said to the two jonin beside him, recalling the intelligence on their target.
"According to the intel, he has mastered Lightning Style Ninjutsu and has already awakened his Sharingan. He is also proficient in Fire Style Ninjutsu and genjutsu. His overall strength has been updated to the elite jonin level."
"Don't worry, Kakashi. With three of us elite jonin here, and more jonin squads arriving soon, how could he possibly escape?" said one of the men, who was thin and carried several large scrolls on his back.
"Lynn Uchiha's strength should not be underestimated," Kakashi said calmly.
"The Uchiha Clan possesses immense potential and extraordinary power."
"So what? In the face of absolute strength, no matter how powerful Lynn Uchiha is, he is still just one man. He still needs to weave hand signs to perform ninjutsu. Nine jonin are more than enough to deal with him."
The jonin remained dismissive.
After all, aside from natural disasters like Tailed Beasts or certain exceptional Kage-level powerhouses, no ninja could withstand the combined assault of nine peers.
Not far away.
Several Cloud Village ninjas, dressed in dark blue ninja uniforms with thick animal-hide or lightweight metal shoulder guards, stood under the eaves, looking up at Kakashi and his group.
"The Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi? Why are they here?"
Omoi, who had brown skin, short white hair, and a lollipop in his mouth, turned to ask the person beside him.
Next to him stood Samui, a female ninja with a cold expression, blonde hair, and an icy demeanor.
Hearing Omoi's words, Samui said coldly, "Whatever their purpose here, we only need to protect our village."
"It looks like they're here to capture a rogue ninja?" Omoi raised an eyebrow, guessing.
"They are all jonin. We are not their match, so we should just observe from a distance," Samui said coldly.
She was a ninja of icy temperament, just like the principles she upheld.
"To be targeted by so many jonin, it looks like this Konoha rogue is in for a rough time." Omoi crunched down on his lollipop.
"That has nothing to do with us, as long as they don't involve our village. Though, they shouldn't be able to affect our village anyway."
Clearly, Samui also felt that no one could withstand these jonin.
With several Konoha jonin mobilized, unless it was someone as powerful as the Kage of a hidden village, anyone would fall into the hands of these jonin.
The sky was a brilliant blue, and sunlight filtered through the clouds, casting colorful reflections on the puddles below.
Lynn Uchiha and Second Pillar walked slowly out of the inn.
The moment he stepped outside, Lynn Uchiha sensed that something was wrong.
He expanded his perception, spreading it into the surroundings.
Everything within a few hundred meters was captured in his mind.
He did not discover anything abnormal.
Yet, this inexplicable sense of foreboding made Lynn instantly alert.
Unlike the mutants in the Marvel Universe, these ninjas were all master schemers.
Although Lynn Uchiha had easily dealt with the previous two waves of pursuers, that did not mean these ninjas were incompetent.
Lynn Uchiha led Second Pillar, carefully walking toward the street ahead.
Eerily, there was not a single pedestrian in sight.
This made Lynn Uchiha feel that the atmosphere was even more suspicious.
There had to be a trap.
Although his current strength had reached the Kage level, if several Tailed Beasts were to arrive, it would still be quite difficult for him to handle.
Lynn Uchiha walked forward slowly, his scarlet eyes scanning every corner of his surroundings.
In the corners of the buildings, danger lurked within the shadows.
On the deserted street, Lynn spotted a figure standing at the far end from a distance.
He narrowed his eyes, staring intently at the silhouette ahead.
The man had snow-white hair, one eye covered by a mask, and wore the green flak jacket of a Konoha ninja.
"Hatake Kakashi..."
