Was Eternal Light powerful?

Extremely powerful—powerful enough to be called the strongest below the Upstreamers. In some respects, it was not far inferior even to the Upstreamers.

Had it not walked two paths at once, it would have become an Upstreamer long ago.

Of course, without the support of White Light and Black Abyss, perhaps it would never have come this far.

Who could accurately speak of changes in the future of the world without having lived through them?

Back in the Moon Tree World, Eternal Light had used rituals to hunt several other Path-level beings, such as Deep Sea Chanter, Dark Death, Wasteland Shadow, and others.

Because it cultivated two Paths simultaneously, Eternal Light had not absorbed those Paths and turned itself into a Node Holder in order to maintain its own stability. Instead, it preserved every one of those Paths and forged them into divine artifacts.

Its own strength neared that of an Upstreamer; White Light and Black Abyss stood behind it; and it held several divine artifacts in its hands.

A being of this level could be said to stride sideways through most of the multiverse, so long as it did not provoke those beings at the very pinnacle of the universe.

Yet the one who made everyone look twice was Killer J.

One of Negary's Three Symbols, it normally had no proper bearing about it. It often maintained a human appearance, had achieved its Path only recently, and seemed extraordinarily lazy. Some even called it Negary's disgrace.

And yet this very disgrace of Negary had first succeeded in a sneak attack during its battle with Eternal Light. Then its combat ability had nearly matched Eternal Light's, and now it had even gained the upper hand.
