Background / History

The name Negary was originally a Kexi divine name associated with disease and ill omen. Wang Yuan adopted it during his earliest period as a ghost-like entity, when he sustained himself by absorbing white vapor from infected corpses and conducted pathogen experiments through mutated crows. 3 5 197

Over the following decade, Wang Yuan researched Nara's awakening Dragon Blood and developed the Spread Germ, which covered Reastmia before expanding into neighboring regions. When his missing spirit returned to restore his soul body, he refused to return to his former identity and consciously became Negary instead. 32

Negary built successive bodies and infection networks to compensate for the limits of his soul form. He created the Pathogen Body, developed Soul Blood hosts such as Noah, and used pathogens, psychological pressure, and Soul Qi to establish control over others. 37 53 64

After expanding beyond the Flame World, Negary treated worlds, supernatural systems, and anomalous phenomena as material for study.
