The Senjutsu Vacuum Great Sphere that came from behind effortlessly swallowed Danzo's Vacuum Great Sphere whole. The technique vanished, and the attack hurtled toward Shimura Danzō with even greater speed.
"Senjutsu!? Could it be Jiraiya? Just like Hiruzen, he's another fool who's helping the enemy!"
Seeing his technique easily blocked, then countered by a ninjutsu powered with Senjutsu Chakra that had even swallowed his own attack, Danzo furrowed his brow, his expression turning even more vicious.
Danzo didn't realize this wasn't the Sage Mode of Mount Myōboku's tradition at all. The sage-like features Naruto had developed through his training were fundamentally different from Jiraiya's Sage Mode. It was closer to a "natural" Sage Mode, merely adding a layer of golden eyeshadow around Naruto's pupils and making his bearing seem more otherworldly.
Danzo, who simply assumed Jiraiya had taught Naruto senjutsu, wore an increasingly vicious look in his eyes.

His hands formed seals once more, swiftly.

In an instant,
a huge cloud of white smoke rose out of nowhere in front of Danzo.

A massive, heavy shadow appeared.
Its cry sounded like a bull's bellow, or perhaps the call of some other strange creature.
The summoned ninja beast was none other than Baku, the summoning beast who had made a contract with Danzo!
