Figures surged into battle.
Almost as soon as Naruto entered Sage Mode and drew on the Nine-Tails Chakra within him, fusing the two together to unleash an overwhelming presence, thousands of Snow Ninjas charged from his flanks and rear. Led by their respective commanders, Neji, Sasuke, and the others spearheaded the assault. Following the battle plan they had established beforehand, the Snow Ninjas advanced in successive waves toward the Allied Forces just ahead.
"Fire Style!"
"Water Style!"
"Lightning Style!"
"Earth Style!"
"Clang, clang, clang, clang, clang!"
"Clink, clink, clink, clink!"
Ninjutsu of every kind filled the sky, along with a storm of Shuriken and Kunai. The two armies, though separated by nearly a thousand meters, collided in an instant. Brutal clashes erupted everywhere, each one unleashing tremendous force.
"Might Guy!"
Down below,
the ordinary Snow Ninjas and the Allied Forces fought fiercely.
Off to the side,
Sasuke, Neji, Utakata, Karin, and the others led their own units, or charged ahead alone to seek out their targets.
Sasuke had already brought out his Susanoo for all to see,
charging forward with overwhelming force
and smashing through the Allied Forces' first line of defense.
"Sasuke Uchiha!"
After sending dozens, even hundreds, of Allied shinobi flying,
he met Might Guy head-on.
The two had already clashed once before. How could Might Guy not know how terrifying this Uchiha prodigy was?
It had taken Daytime Tiger with the Seventh Gate just to break through the purple chakra barrier—the Susanoo, the Uchiha Clan's most powerful defensive and offensive ocular technique. In other words, the Seventh Gate was the bare minimum needed to overpower Sasuke, and that was when Sasuke had already been fighting Lord Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Guy all at once.
Now, Guy had no teammate of comparable strength at his side to help him.
