This round of negotiations had taken Ueno Kei a full two days from beginning to end.
After Ueno Kei finished giving Tsunade a complete report on all the information in the Hokage Building, Tsunade smiled lightly. "You've worked hard, Kei!"
"Then I'll leave Anbu affairs to my deputy. Tsunade-senpai, I'm going to catch up with Naruto and the others. I still can't help worrying," Ueno Kei said after a pause.
"Kei, you've already been so busy, and you're exhausted. You don't need to go. Besides, I've already sent Kakashi after them, so don't worry," Tsunade said, shaking her head helplessly. In her view, Ueno Kei really had the mentality of a nanny, worrying so much about Naruto.
"No, Tsunade-senpai, I'm fine. Then I'm off," Ueno Kei said solemnly. Although, just as Tsunade had said, with Kakashi following behind them, there was no need for Ueno Kei to go at all, he simply could not shake his inexplicable worry for Naruto.
In any case, he had more or less dealt with everything at hand. Whether he rested or not made little difference to Ueno Kei, so he still decided to go support Naruto and the others.
Watching Ueno Kei hurry away, Tsunade shook her head, then lowered her head and continued with her work.
After passing straight through Konoha's gates, Ueno Kei stopped atop a large tree. He bit his finger, rapidly formed hand seals, and shouted, "Summoning Jutsu!"
With a puff, Shin appeared before Ueno Kei.
"Shin, can you determine Naruto's location?" Ueno Kei asked in a low voice.
"Yes! Lord Kei, Lord Naruto is roughly in this direction!" Shin stretched out a forelimb and pointed in a general direction.
"Good! Lead the way. We'll head straight to Naruto!" Ueno Kei nodded.
"Understood!" Shin swiftly climbed onto Ueno Kei's shoulder.
