Reunion

Nara Desert.

Yellow sand filled the sky as far as the eye could see, leaving nothing but desolation.

"Wooo..."

The reddish-yellow wind and sand swept past, and the howling wind seemed to carry a mournful song from the ancient city of Rōran.

Just then!

"Boom!!"

An incomparably thick pillar of blazing white light suddenly shot straight into the heavens. Its intense radiance remained clearly visible even in broad daylight.

"Th-That is...!?"

"It's... it's where the Rōran ruins are!!"

At a gathering place near Rōran, people rose to their feet one after another, their eyes wide with disbelief as they stared at the pillar of light piercing the sky.

As these former citizens of Rōran watched the blazing white pillar of light, a strange figure silently emerged from within it.

The space around him heaved and distorted, producing enormous fluctuations that made it seem profoundly unstable.

Two enormous white wings extended from his back, like milky-white bone, flawlessly fused into his body.

His long brown hair reached his waist, while a dazzling blue crystal revolved at the very center of his chest.

On his sharply defined, somewhat indifferent face, a pair of black pupils without whites sat within his eye sockets, radiating a soul-stirring gleam.

"Tap!"

His foot lightly stepped onto the yellow sand. The next moment, his body suddenly underwent a tremendous change. Those massive bone-like wings slowly melted away, and his long hair gradually dispersed into the air.

As his body changed, this barren desert suddenly came alive with vigorous vitality.

As though bathed in some mysterious power, lush green grass sprang from the desolate sand.

That mysterious power spread incredibly far, nearly covering the entire Nara Desert. Countless plants burst from the sand in an instant.
