And just then,
a beautiful woman with a neat golden ponytail came walking over from the side of the street.
She looked at the two of them suspiciously with her brown eyes and asked softly,
"What happened?"
Hearing her question, Orochimaru gently shook his head and said quietly,
"Nothing, Tsunade."
"Did you buy everything you needed?"
Orochimaru asked.
Before Tsunade could answer, Jiraiya grinned and burst out laughing.
"Tsunade, Nawaki's at the age where he should be seeing the kind of things a man ought to see!"
With a strange smile on his face, he suddenly pulled something from behind his back and held up a manga magazine with some very revealing artwork right in front of Tsunade!
"This is a gift I prepared for little Nawaki! So, Tsunade, don't you think a gift like this is really meaningful?"
Jiraiya grinned and happily rambled on, completely oblivious to Tsunade's darkening expression!
"Ji... rai... ya!!"
Tsunade's brows trembled with fury!
Suddenly,
she roared like a rampaging dinosaur!
Bam!
Jiraiya, who had been merrily talking to himself, was sent flying into a nearby wall with one punch, leaving a deep imprint of his body behind...
" S-s... sorry... I... guess... that's Tsunade's... fist... the same familiar feeling as ever..."
Jiraiya stammered, embedded in the wall, blood spurting from his nose.
"Honestly..."
"I shouldn't have expected anything from an unreliable guy like Jiraiya!"
Tsunade said angrily, folding her arms.
"Come on. It's our first day back in the village, after all. Let's surprise Nawaki."
"I'd like to see how strong he's gotten, too. If he doesn't meet my expectations, he can't blame me, his teacher, for giving him even harsher training."
Orochimaru said slowly, then headed off.
Behind him,
Tsunade furrowed her brows and called coldly toward Jiraiya, still embedded in the wall.
