The sound of splashing water echoed endlessly across this dreamlike little island.
In the secluded forest, silver-white water shimmered brilliantly beneath the bright sunlight.
And beneath the towering silver-white waterfall, a tall figure stood perfectly straight!
It was Sosuke, who had chosen to enter the Waterfall of Truth.
He stood on the rocky platform beneath the falls, both eyes tightly closed. The waterfall plunging from high above battered him, yet he showed no reaction.
On the shore, the beautiful Kyoka Suigetsu wore a worried expression on her delicate little face.
Her fair hands were clenched tight, and her bewitching eyes were fixed on Sosuke, his hair dripping wet beneath the falls. Her soft lips moved slightly as she murmured to herself.
"Sosuke... You have to come back..."
In a pitch-black place.
"Plink..."
A clear sound, like a pebble dropping into still water, suddenly rang out.
At the sound, Sosuke abruptly opened his eyes!
He narrowed them slightly, taking in his surroundings as his brows furrowed.
He was in complete darkness. Everything around him was black, and he had lost all sense of time and space!
He couldn't even tell whether he was standing upright or upside down. The sensation beneath his feet felt unreal, disorienting him until his sense of perception began to fade.
Sosuke slowly raised a hand before his eyes and stared at it with a frown.
But all he saw was profound darkness. He couldn't see a thing.
"The energy inside my body can't manifest here? Neither chakra nor... Nothing works at all..."
Sosuke murmured slowly, his brow furrowed.
In truth, though his lips moved, no sound could travel through this darkness.
His gaze lowered as he thought to himself.
Even sound is swallowed... What kind of place is this...?
Is that man somewhere in here?!
