The many layers of houses showed that this clan occupied a considerable area of Konoha.
The ninjas coming and going all wore the gunbai symbol that marked their clan.
This was the Uchiha Clan's settlement.
Inside an old house.
A group of Uchiha elders had gathered there, apparently discussing some matter.
The man seated at the head of the room looked imposing and middle-aged.
He watched the elders below in silence, then spoke in a low voice.
"Pupil's body has been returned by Root Base. According to Danzo, he died in a surprise attack by the Rock Ninja. The teammates with him before that were Hyuga Minato and Sosuke."
At this, he looked at the others' expressions, then continued.
"I've already had people from the clan examine the body. The fatal injury was to the heart. He bled to death because of the damage."
The elders below erupted in surprise when they heard this, while some sighed in sorrow.
After all, Uchiha Pupil could be considered one of the outstanding members of this generation of the Uchiha Clan. The other was Uchiha Tokino.
Both of them shared one thing: they had come into contact with Sosuke.
And the result... one had been struck so hard he'd become dispirited, while the other had simply died.
"Sosuke! That boy again!? What on earth is the matter with him? Didn't everyone say he was terribly weak!? Why did Pupil die while he survived!?"
An Uchiha elder said angrily.
"That's right! That brat, a mere commoner, has repeatedly offended the dignity of the Uchiha Clan. It's utterly infuriating."
Another elder said in a low voice.
"Pupil's death must have something to do with that brat! And that boy from the Hyuga Clan, too.
