Serum of American Comics was going up for subscription today. To be honest, when I got the notice from my editor yesterday, it caught me off guard. It all happened so suddenly that I had a hard time adjusting.
First, I'd like to thank my editor, Yuanzheng, for all the support and care over the years.
While I'm at it, I also want to thank all the readers for supporting and encouraging me since the story was first published. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to keep going this long.
To be honest, I'm pretty nervous about putting the story behind a paywall. I keep worrying that once the subscription chapters go up, hardly anyone will subscribe, and I'll end up like most authors whose books flop. But, as I often say in the story, there's no point in getting nervous or panicking. Rather than worry about it, I should face whatever comes with courage and keep moving forward.
That's life. Anyone who wants to do what they love has to weather a few setbacks. Without the mental strength to face them, it's hard to get by. Writing novels makes me happy, and it's a very important part of my life, so I'll do my best.
Lastly, I hope you'll continue to support my work and subscribe through official channels.
Thank you, everyone.
