Emma's mental powers had barely stirred when Dilos and Charles sensed them from the principal's office.
"These people..."
Dilos rubbed his forehead helplessly, then glanced apologetically at Charles. "Sorry, I'll go deal with them first."
"No need for that."
Charles quickly stopped him. Then, seeing Dilos's puzzled look, he smiled. "One of our very capable students has already gone over to stop them."
As if to reassure Dilos, Charles added, "This student has several abilities. One of them can calm people down in an instant."

Yet Charles claimed that someone could stop Emma. Dilos couldn't help being surprised.
"She sounds like a very special student."
Dilos smiled, though he couldn't help wondering, When did the mutants produce someone this powerful?
At the same time, Dilos reached out with his mental powers to sense the other person. But his expression turned strange when he came up empty. Aside from the two groups, he couldn't sense anything at all.
"Dilos, your mental skills are impressive for your age, but you still lack refinement."
Seeing Dilos's expression, Charles smiled kindly. "Would you care to hear a few suggestions from an old man?"
Dilos was taken aback, then grinned. "Of course. It would be my honor."
While Dilos accepted some pointers from Charles, the atmosphere elsewhere remained tense.
Although the people on both Emma's and Scott's sides had inexplicably calmed down, Emma's group was unsettled again the very next moment.
*She can calm people down. That must be some kind of mental
