When midnight arrived, Dilos donned his battle armor, shrank down, and swiftly made his way to Zades Corporation headquarters—the largest building in central London.
Zades Corporation might not rank among the very top in overall strength, but among the many major companies, it still held a position above the middle. Yet now, the company was showing signs of pushing toward the world's top twenty corporations.
Why was that?
The reason was one of Zades Corporation's new products: cloned plasma.
As everyone knew, obtaining someone else's cloned blood generally required extracting it from that person's clone. Even if the blood was successfully cloned, the lack of white blood cells and platelets in the cloned plasma would leave the user vulnerable to other viruses.

Once this product passed approval, Zades Corporation would receive an enormous number of orders and rise into the ranks of the world's top corporations.
Dilos did not actually care how powerful this company might become. Although International Genetic Technologies, where he worked, had a certain competitive relationship with it, it was nowhere near a life-or-death rivalry.
What Dilos cared about was the company's cloned plasma technology, as well as the Vampire manipulating the company from behind the scenes. (P.S. This cloned plasma would be extremely helpful for the protagonist's future production of efficient and inexpensive nutrient solution.)
As humanity's development improved in every respect, even Vampires, whose physical abilities surpassed those of humans, had no choice but to conceal themselves, learn from humanity, and quietly live hidden among human society.
It could not be helped. The number of Vampires was pitifully small compared to humanity. If they dared
