The old man—or rather, Dek-Sel—first tried to struggle after Dilos locked him down, only to find that not only could he not break free, he could not even make Dilos's hand move an inch.
Only then did Dek-Sel realize struggling was useless. He stopped fighting, but terror still flickered in his eyes as he looked at Dilos.
"Who exactly are you?" the old man could not help asking.
To his surprise, Dilos did not even answer. The fingers gripping his shoulder simply tightened slightly, and Dek-Sel immediately felt intense pain spread from his shoulder through his entire body. His aged face twisted from the pain, and he could not utter a word.
These were a few small tricks Dilos had learned after entering the Microscopic Realm. With just a little force, he could spread the power throughout the other person's body, making them suffer unbearable pain without actually sustaining any injury.
Only then did Dilos slowly speak.
"Don't talk. I'm the one asking questions now, not you."
