At night, in Clark's home.

"Clark, honey, are you saying that Dilos has superpowers just like you?" A beautiful middle-aged woman stood beside Clark. This woman was Martha Kent, Clark's adoptive mother. Although she had reached middle age, one could still see from the traces on her face that she had been a stunningly beautiful woman in her youth. She stared at Clark with wide eyes, filled with disbelief.

"And his strength is even greater than yours?"

Beside her stood a middle-aged man, Jonathan Kent, Clark's adoptive father. He wore a slightly worn-out shirt and jeans; though his attire looked a bit sloppy, he possessed a calm and steady temperament. After hearing Clark's words, the man couldn't help but ask in confusion, "Clark, are you sure you didn't see wrong?"

Clark helplessly covered his forehead and said, "Yes, Dad. I had no power to resist in front of him. You know, even when I was hit by a tractor before, I was fine, let alone knocked unconscious. But when he pushed me away, I actually passed out. This is just not normal."

"You have to realize that over the last twelve years, this town has seen all sorts of strange things," Jonathan said, trying to help Clark relax. "You are special, Clark. Perhaps that was just a minor side effect of your abilities during a growth spurt, creating an illusion when they temporarily faded."

Clark nodded but didn't say anything more.

When Jonathan and Martha left Clark's room, they returned to their own bedroom. They exchanged a look, both of their eyes revealing a hint of worry.

"Jonathan, do you think it's possible that Dilos is like Clark?"

Jonathan knew what Martha was referring to, but he still shook his head. "I don't think so. I've seen Dilos's parents. Although the boy is as tall as Clark, I am certain he looks very much like his parents. He is definitely not a visitor from space. Besides, didn't we see him before that meteor shower arrived?"

Martha nodded, her gaze turning toward Clark's bedroom, revealing a mix of worry and struggle. "Jonathan, I know Clark has always felt lonely because of his abilities. That's why he's always hoped to find someone like himself."

"Perhaps..." Jonathan's eyes flickered. "We should tell him the truth."

"But..."

Martha was about to say something, but Jonathan interrupted her. "Regardless, he is our son, and that will never change. Besides, he's grown up; he really should know the truth."

Two days later...

In two days, with only the crude equipment and limited knowledge at his disposal, Dilos naturally couldn't research much. Even so, the results he observed using the existing microscope and various chemical reagents were enough to open his eyes.

Setting aside the fact that the cellular structure was almost completely different from that of a human, the biological value of the blood alone was immense!

When he removed the blue kryptonite, the blood, once its energy was suppressed, began to absorb energy again. According to tests with his instruments, it absorbed everything—infrared, ultraviolet, and other forms of radiation.

Although he couldn't test if the blood absorbed other types of radiation due to equipment limitations, this was enough to prove that Kryptonians possessed a physiology capable of absorbing energy.

Even though Kryptonian cells were vastly different from human ones, Dilos still found mitochondria within them. Yes, mitochondria—the organelles that usually required an electron microscope to observe were so large that Dilos could see them with a standard microscope.

If nothing else, if a life form could maintain healthy and stable activity while possessing such large mitochondria in its cells, a rough estimate suggested this life form could live for at least seven or eight hundred years.

If he possessed this kind of Kryptonian physiology, he would have the guts to go head-to-head with the Hulk even if he were standing right in front of him!

Of course, Dilos wouldn't waste such precious blood on experiments all the time. The blood was far too valuable; even from that one tube, he only dared to use a few drops for his observations and tests.

However, after witnessing the wonders of Kryptonian blood, Dilos felt an itch. He had other ideas regarding Kryptonian blood, and having a living, breathing Kryptonian right beside him without drawing his blood felt like a terrible waste!

So, for the past two days, Dilos had been thinking about finding an opportunity to draw a few more tubes of blood from Clark. But for some reason, Clark had been staring at him from time to time, which made Dilos feel a bit guilty and unable to find an opening.

Did he discover something? Dilos wondered, eventually deciding to put the matter aside for now.

However, Chloe didn't think the same way.

"Why has Clark been staring at Dilos so much these past two days?" Chloe frowned, feeling a bit depressed. "Logically, shouldn't boys be interested in looking at pretty girls? He hasn't changed his orientation to men, has he?"

Thinking this, the more she pondered, the more possible it seemed. As someone secretly in love with Clark, her sense of crisis grew heavier. Unable to keep things to herself, she immediately cornered Clark to ask, only to receive a result that left her both frantic and unable to laugh or cry.

"You think Dilos might be a relative with the same bloodline as you?" Chloe stared at Clark, completely dumbfounded.

The latter, looking like a total dork, nodded foolishly before realizing what kind of stupid thing he had said. Clark looked at Chloe awkwardly. "I mean... it's just a possibility. It doesn't necessarily have to be that way."

Chloe rolled her eyes. "Then why don't you go to the hospital with him and get a paternity test or something? As long as you're from the same lineage, they can identify it." However, after realizing what she said, Chloe covered her forehead. "I must be losing my mind. Why would I think of such messy things? This is simply impossible."

In the end, the matter was left unsettled. When Dilos found out about it, he could only sigh that kids really knew how to make a mess of things.

However, there was another matter that left Dilos feeling very confused. Someone had sent him a car.

It was a Lamborghini, the gold edition. Dilos remembered that this model of Lamborghini cost over 20 million RMB.

"Lex Luthor sent it to you," Gabe said, handing a letter to Dilos. On it was written:

Dear Dilos: Drive carefully, much appreciated.

At the bottom, it was signed: The madman driving the Porsche.

Regarding this, Dilos felt a lot of pressure. "Even as a reward, this is far too expensive."

He looked at Gabe and asked, "Shouldn't we return this car?"

Dilos was naturally tempted by such a fine item, but that didn't mean he would accept it with a clear conscience; after all, one shouldn't accept rewards without merit. Moreover, this was a gift from Lex Luthor, which made it impossible for him not to be suspicious.

Gabe smiled, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "This thing is for you, so it's up to you to decide whether to keep it or not. Besides, you're grown up now; there are many things you need to decide for yourself."
