The enormous black shadow that had condensed seemed to be clad in a suit of ancient armor. Its face could not be seen, but its eyes were exceptionally calm. It glanced at the Tyrant Heaven Army Heavenly Rank warrior Lin Cheng had killed, and a faint sorrow seemed to surface in its eyes. When it looked at Lin Cheng, its gaze held a few more layers of complexity. Yet strangely, this avatar of the Tyrant Heaven Army's commander did not seem to bear much hatred toward Lin Cheng, which appeared somewhat at odds with the commander's legendary image of being overbearing and fiercely protective of his own.

The instant that massive black shadow condensed, Beishan Lie suddenly let out a thunderous roar of utter fury. His voice carried an indescribable urgency. Perhaps the sight of his wife's killer had caused rage to drown his reason in an instant.
