Yhwach transformed the Lake of Life into a Wandenreich stronghold and demanded that Tang San surrender the King's Seal. As Haschwalth declared the Wandenreich would seize the forest, Gu Yue and the Soul Beasts resisted, and Bazz-B struck Bear Lord with a powerful flame attack.

• Xiao Wu accused Gu Yue of refusing to help them, while Tang San and the Soul Beasts explained that Yhwach was pursuing the King's Seal.
• Gu Yue allowed Xiao Wu, Da Ming, and Er Ming to stay at the Lake of Life but ordered Tang San to leave.
