As Aizen escalated his attacks and the continent began to crack, the God of Destruction revealed that he might know how to sever Yhwach’s connection.

• The Four Douluo Supreme Gods raised their Divine Artifacts, but Yhwach shattered their barrier after absorbing Z’s power and becoming immune to the four gods’ forces.

The God of Destruction and Goddess of Life sacrificed themselves to renew the God Realm Continent and sever Yhwach’s connection to it. As the continent recovered, Urahara Kisuke realized that Yhwach’s power was weakening, leaving Yhwach wounded and facing the end of his advantage.

On the final day of the long night, Aizen oversaw the God Realm as Yhwach’s tombstone began to crumble and the war neared its end. He sent the Gotei 13 to recruit talented figures from other continents, while the chapter closed with Aizen anticipating a major plan by the Soul King.

• Aizen received visitors from the Saint Demon Continent, and Shihouin Yoruichi asked to train Sheng Cai'er as her assistant.
• Aizen refused another audience request as Kurotsuchi Mayuri, Kenpachi Zaraki, and Hitsugaya Toshiro searched other continents for promising people.
