Background / History

After one of his incarnations was destroyed by Lin Xiaoyao, the Progenitor investigated the human cultivator's abilities and discovered that Lin possessed powers including Word of Law and Phoenix True Fire. He postponed revenge because his own demonic art was at a critical stage of cultivation. 297

By the time of the Spirit Realm conflict, he was regarded by ancient demons as an invincible quasi-Saint whose plans could not fail. He watched inter-realm passages for threats from the Spirit Realm and later sent incarnations to hunt Lin Xiaoyao in the Ancient Demon Realm. 446 486
