"Come. Your master will seek justice for you!"

Yang Chen spoke softly.

Beigong Qing nodded obediently.

For some reason, whenever Yang Chen stood by her side, Beigong Qing felt incredibly safe, as though she had a solid pillar behind her, shielding her from everything.

Because the guards had died earlier, many people in the prison had already noticed that something was wrong.

A low growl came from the depths of the prison.

"Young man, take me out, and I'll guarantee your safety for the rest of your life!"

Yang Chen cast a sidelong glance toward the source of the voice, the corners of his lips curling slightly.

"Guarantee my safety? Are you worthy?"

The depths suddenly fell silent. But in the next instant, a surging force swept out, carrying exceedingly terrifying power as it erupted in an instant.

"Junior, do not be so arrogant! I'll give you one more chance—take me away!"

Like the roar of a wild beast, the voice resounded through the entire prison. Many of the prisoners pressed themselves against their cell doors and looked toward Yang Chen.

"Who is this kid? He actually dares provoke the Fire God Hall like this!"

"Hehehe, just enjoy the show. I'll bet this kid won't survive half an incense stick's time!"

"Half an incense stick? You're underestimating the Fire God Hall too much. I reckon this kid will be finished in just a few breaths!"

Quite a few prisoners looked at the young man with gloating expressions.

Years of imprisonment had long since stripped them of any hope of escape.
