Li Tianhua crouched at the entrance of a palace hall, his face full of resentment.

He was the dignified Supreme Emperor of Great Tang, yet he had become someone's servant. If word got out, it would be humiliating beyond measure.

"Old Li, is the meal ready yet?!"

Su An called out to the crouching Li Tianhua.

Li Tianhua cursed under his breath.

"Damn it, I'm the Supreme Emperor of Great Tang. Since when did I start doing the cooking?"

Though that was what he thought, Li Tianhua still forced a smile and said to Su An, "Soon, soon. It'll be ready in a moment!"

Su An nodded and said with a smile, "Old Li, your cooking really is good. I never used to eat meals, but after eating your food, I find myself wanting more every day!"

Li Tianhua said proudly, "Of course! I, Old Li, might not be number one in all Great Tang when it comes to cooking, but top ten is no problem!"

Su An nodded with a smile. "Old Li, let me know when the food's ready. I'm going to see Master first!"

"Go on, go on!"

Li Tianhua said with a smile, seeing him off.

Only after Su An entered the palace hall did Li Tianhua's smile vanish.

"Damn it, since when did I have to wait on these brats?!"

After cursing under his breath, Li Tianhua patted his backside and headed toward the cookhouse.
