"Alright, you guys stay back. I'll drive Crocodile over here so he doesn't damage our property!" Gray called to everyone from the edge of the desert outside Rainbase.
As for the "property" Gray mentioned, naturally he meant the casino Crocodile ran, along with his treasure collection and the like.
If you beat your opponent, doesn't everything belong to the victor?
So those assets could already have Gray's name written on them.
"Also, stay back when I fight Crocodile later!" After saying that, Gray flew straight toward the Rainbase casino. Once he reached the air above it, he sensed Crocodile's presence with Observation Haki and teleported directly into the room where he was.
"Hey there, Crocodile!"
"Is Nico Robin up to something again?" Crocodile wondered, sitting in his room and puffing away on a cigar as he considered Robin's recent odd behavior.
Still, even though he'd noticed something was off, he needed Robin's abilities until he found Pluton's location.
Besides, he didn't care much about Robin's peculiar ideas. They were only partners, after all. They both knew that once they achieved their goals, they would no longer have any use for each other.
Knowing that, and confident in his own strength, he didn't think Robin could cause him any trouble.
Just as he was lost in thought, Gray's sudden voice made him jump.
"Who's there?" Crocodile's body turned to sand in an instant, carrying him away from where he'd been. Only then did he look back at his original position.
And there he saw Gray leaning against the back of the sofa, right where he'd been sitting moments ago. Gray had spoken right beside his ear.
But the instant Crocodile recognized Gray's face, his expression turned grave. "What's a man like you doing here?"
"Heh! Good question!" Gray looked entirely
