Chapter Summaries

Gray and Yamato fought King in Uta’s mental world while the others completed a plan to restrain him with Seastone Handcuffs. With King’s ability suppressed, Gray resumed the battle at full force and, after being seriously wounded, finally understood what had kept him from mastering Life Return; he charged back into the fight to test that insight.

• Gray conserved his stamina while fighting King until Baby 5 and the Dwarves cuffed King with Seastone and Leo stitched him to the island.
• Uta entered the mental world and told Gray the plan had succeeded, allowing him to fight King without holding back.
