Ye Xishui listened to Jing Hongchen's words, a faint smile appearing on her face as she teasingly said, "Wasn't it a difficult choice? Why did Hall Master Jing suddenly make up his mind?"
Jing Hongchen clenched his fists. Instead of answering Ye Xishui directly, he gritted his teeth and glared at her. "You'd better pray you never fall into my hands. Otherwise, I'll carve you into a thousand pieces and tear your corpse to shreds!"
Ye Xishui merely smiled at Jing Hongchen. "You don't think that, before me, you're still the Hall Master Hongchen whose every word commands the Sun Moon Empire, do you? Under my hand, you're nothing more than a slightly larger ant."
As she spoke, Ye Xishui suddenly tapped the ground with the Scepter in her hand. A wave of crimson Soul Power immediately surged outward, smashing Jing Hongchen and the other two into a violent tumble.
By the time he barely managed to steady himself, Jing Hongchen's formerly neat and immaculate clothes were already coated in dust. He gritted his teeth and said, "Why aren't you retreating yet?!"
Only then did the people of Mingde Hall seem to wake from a dream. Under Jing Hongchen's lead, they scrambled and fled outside.
Ye Xishui said to Jing Hongchen, "I'll give you only one hour. If you don't return within that hour, say goodbye to your grandson."
Jing Hongchen abruptly stopped upon hearing this. He turned back, gritted his teeth, clenched his fists, and seriously negotiated with Ye Xishui. "One hour won't do. It's too short. I won't make it there and back in time."
Ye Xishui swung her legs. "There's no room for bargaining."
Jing Hongchen took a deep breath. He did not continue arguing with Ye Xishui, but turned and began retreating toward Ming Capital.
