[Yes! Yes!]
[I can sail myself!]
[You don't need to help! I can sail myself all by myself!]
Cloud Kun answered happily. On either side of the long table, the old monk and the Mazu Temple's Temple Keeper simultaneously showed expressions too complicated for words, lowering their voices as they translated for their respective groups.
Shen Le rolled his eyes inwardly and raised his voice:
"Cloud Kun! Don't talk nonsense! Even if you can sail yourself, someone still has to be on board for appearances' sake!
Otherwise, are you trying to scare people to death?"
A ship with no one raising the sails, no one lowering them, no one at the helm, and an utterly empty deck.
That might have been fine for a modern vessel, since the bridge was hidden inside and ordinary people might not even see it. But for a traditional sailing ship to pull that stunt...
It really would scare people half to death!
"It's fine, it's fine. It's good enough that it can sail itself." The leading professor smiled and raised a hand in a calming gesture, seemingly both stopping Shen Le and soothing Cloud Kun. "Speaking of which, Cloud Kun, could you point out where you've been before?"
[No problem!]
At the professor's gesture, Doctor Senior Brother skillfully opened a suitcase, took out a world map, and rushed to the ship's side with a junior brother to spread it out.
No one knew how Cloud Kun "looked" at it, but after a moment of silence, the Temple Keeper spoke on its behalf:
"It says it can't understand it."
"No, these are all places you've traveled through. You don't recognize them? Look, this is Vietnam, this is Singapore, this is the Strait of Malacca—"
"You got the place names wrong." The advisor calmly corrected him
