Cloud Kun: I want to install missiles! I want to install missiles that can sink aircraft carriers!
Then—
Then—
What about that huge wooden ship—
Shen Le stiffly turned his head toward the coast. The shore was no longer the pristine natural coastline from Shen Le's first visit, where large ships could not even dock and everything had to be ferried by small boats.
Now, thanks to our industrial Cthulhu capabilities, a long pier had already been built along the coastline.
There was even a gantry crane on the pier for hoisting machinery off ships. Its lifting capacity was unknown, but Shen Le estimated that lifting a tank probably would not be a problem?
Several ships of various sizes were docked on either side of the pier, from vessels several times larger than Cloud Kun to two small speedboats moored side by side.
At the farthest vacant stretch, just moments ago, Cloud Kun had still been docked there. The cargo unloaded from it was still lying on the ground, fresh off the ship, not yet moved away for sorting.
Yet that four-hundred-ton ship was gone—gone—gone—
A warning whistle blared. People rushed out frantically from the warship, the small boats, and the shore sentry posts. Shen Le even swept his spiritual power into the distance and saw people rushing out of the Taoist temple atop the mountain:
"What's going on?"
"What happened?!"
"Enemy attack?"
"Not an enemy attack—it's the ship that's gone missing—"
The man blowing the warning whistle had a stiff expression. After a brief explanation, he immediately grabbed a phone and began issuing orders. "Deploy drones—search the nearby waters with the harbor as the center."
"Deploy the speedboats—"
"Frogmen, enter the water immediately. Search the seabed outward from where the wooden ship was docked—"
"Deploy anti-submarine equipment... Activate sonar and search the nearby seabed..."
"Special Affairs Bureau personnel, conduct a free search—"
With the harbor as
