With Shen Le casting restoration spells like this, could he turn a trace of blood back into a living person?
"Zheng Mo, can you actually do this?"
"We're reshaping iron plates here, not hammering nails!"
Shen Le was touched that the little ones wanted to work for him, but his pride still took a slight hit. Besides, Little Ink Marker, you were a leader of woodworking tools!
You weren't a leader of blacksmithing tools!
Every craft had its own expertise. Even blacksmithing had countless specialties, each with its own tricks!
That went double for artifact restoration-or rather, artifact forgery. Many of the older generation's methods for restoring bronzes had been learned from craftsmen who forged antiquities.
I've never done this before, and neither have you, Little Ink Marker. How could you know how?
[Of course I know! Watch me!]
Little Ink Marker swung its ink line, raising the Lead Weight overhead and whirling it with a series of whooshes. Suddenly, it lowered it.
Like a dragonfly touching the water, the Lead Weight tapped the top of the hammer beside it.
The hammer leaped high, fixing on the iron plate Shen Le had placed on the wooden anvil, and was about to strike. At the last possible moment, the ink line wrapped around the Iron Hammer and pulled it back:
[Pick another target first! Something to practice on! Show Shen Le you can control yourself before you start!
The hammer turned ninety degrees on the spot and charged toward a dented enamel mug on the cabinet beside them.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way... it broke...
"All right, stop making trouble for me." Shen Le sighed, picked up the Iron Hammer, and put it back in the toolbox, locking the lid with a click.
After a moment's thought, he sat upright before the iron plate and slowly closed his eyes.
Do you remember what you originally looked like?
