Ever since Dark Skull and Magic Eye vanished, the Star Sea had returned to peace.

Although the Demon Legion and Undead Legion still remained in the Star Sea, without Dark Skull and Magic Eye to command them, they no longer stirred up trouble.

Yet the year-long chaos had left wounds upon the racial powers of the Star Sea that would be difficult to heal in a short time.

Of the Eight Great Tribes of the Star Sea, once evenly matched and locked in fierce rivalry, only five remained.

The disaster had first been sparked by Wisdom Eye. It initially caused war to erupt between the Yaksha Race and the Faceless Tribe, ultimately leading to the Faceless Tribe's destruction. Then the Yaksha Race, too, failed to escape the judgment of fate. After Magic Eye appeared, they became a sacrifice on Wisdom Eye's path of escape. Later came the opening of the Star Sea Gamble, in which the Sea-Hunting Tribe became the victim and withdrew from the Star Sea battlefield.

From the players' perspective, many things had happened in the Star Sea over the past year.

But from history's perspective, the rise and fall, prosperity and destruction of a race was merely an inconspicuous grain of sand in the river of time. Such cycles of racial rise and decline had played out repeatedly throughout Star Sea History.

From the perspective of the entire Boundless Realm, the destruction and rise of races were even more countless.

There was no eternal hegemony. In this world where the strong preyed on the weak, there were only ever-changing dynasties rising and falling.
