Chapter Summaries

Ryusuke learned to separate the Gelel Stone’s natural energy from its life force, briefly entering Sage Mode and strengthening his Yang Release Chakra. He recognized the Gelel Stones as a way to rapidly mature his Sage Body, collected a portion of the mineral vein, and fled underground with his prize.

• Ryusuke used information from his Wood Clones to absorb Gelel Stone energy gradually and successfully fuse natural energy with his chakra, entering Sage Mode for less than a minute.
• Ryusuke discovered he still could not sense natural energy in the environment, so he could not sustain Sage Mode without Gelel Stones.
• After leaving Sage Mode, Ryusuke felt the Gelel Stone’s life force strengthening his cells and Yang Release Chakra, and realized it could accelerate his Sage Body’s development.
