The rift was about eleven zhang wide, and the Six-Point Resonant Sealing Array was bearing eighty percent of its capacity. Xuanying and the Yuan Sect Master sat against opposite valley walls, regulating their breathing, their Spirit Transformation power drawn inward.

Li Yuan stood thirty zhang from the rift, watching the great opening that still breathed out demonic qi.

The sealing array and Spatial Lockdown Array were both running. Though the rift had drawn back a little, its walls were much thinner than before the battle. A comparison with the records from Myriad Image Retrospection showed that only about forty percent of their former thickness remained.

The seal might not withstand another Spirit Transformation-level impact.

Li Yuan raised a hand, and spirit power surged from his palm.

He activated the carrierless closed-loop method he had perfected through Fourth-Order Array Dao. Spirit power formed a loop on its own in the air, resonating with the spatial stress along the rift walls. He pressed the loop against the outer layer of the Six-Point Resonant Sealing Array and spread it along the rift's edge.

Half an hour later, the final section of the loop closed.

The cracking at the rift's edge stopped.

Its width slowly shrank from eleven zhang, then steadied at eight. Abyss-Sealing Resonance sent the array's condition into his sea of consciousness: the load on the Six-Point Resonant Sealing Array had fallen to just over seventy percent, and the cracks in its six folded chains had stopped spreading.

Li Yuan withdrew his spirit power but did not leave.

The spatial fluctuations at the rift's edge had been compressed into a narrower range. Their frequency was higher.
