The Blood-Red Demon Puppet raised its arm with her gesture. Its enormous claw, wreathed in blood-red Soul Power, came crashing down on Lin Ye!
That strike carried the full force of a Level 99 Limit Douluo. Every trace of scattered Soul Power in the blood-red domain was drawn toward its palm, forming a dark crimson vortex.
Lin Ye swung the Fire-Tipped Spear across his body to block. Its shaft bent into a terrifying arc beneath the giant claw.
Immense pressure bore down on him, forcing him lower and lower. The Wind Fire Wheels spun at full speed, but he did not bend at the waist.
Samadhi True Fire raced up the spear shaft, trying to burn through the blood-red claw.
But the Soul Power coating it was too dense. The flames left only a few scorch marks on its surface.
Ye Xishui's voice came from above, calm and condescending:
"You can still change your mind."
Lin Ye gritted his teeth. Each word came through them hot with anger:
"Join the Holy Spirit Cult? Never!"
He could hear voices inside the Blood-Red Demon Puppet.
Countless vengeful spirits wailed. Their cries crowded together like sobs seeping up from some unfathomable depth.
Each was the remnant of a living person who had been brutally tortured and killed.
Every time Ye Xishui released Soul Power, she consumed some of them. Those remnants burned away completely, leaving not even a final trace.
Lin Ye might have come from another world, but he had lived on this continent for so long.
He had friends, companions, people he needed to protect. How could he allow such cruelty to continue?
His whole body burst into flame.
