"I can't take revenge on the Dragon God now, but I can take it out on you." Gu Yuena glared viciously at Deng Tianxin.
Whenever she thought of having served Deng Tianxin as a maid all these years, her stomach filled with anger.
Looking into Gu Yuena's silver eyes, still glistening with moisture, Deng Tianxin instinctively tried to step back. But she had a fistful of his collar, leaving him nowhere to retreat. The corner of Gu Yuena's lips lifted ever so slightly, and that smile sent a colder chill down his spine than her anger did.
"Since you insist on taking the blame for the Dragon God, then carry it to the end." As Gu Yuena spoke, she suddenly shoved him toward the bed.
Deng Tianxin could have steadied himself, but seeing the redness still lingering at the corners of her eyes, he ultimately did not resist and let her push him down onto the edge of the bed.
He was a little bewildered. He had no idea when he had ever said he would take the blame.
Gu Yuena stepped closer, bracing one knee beside Deng Tianxin as she bent down, her silver hair cascading like a waterfall.
Gu Yuena was so close that her breath washed over his face. "Weren't you quite righteous when you ordered me around before? Serving tea, pouring water, warming your bed, massaging your legs—you made me do it all so naturally. Today, I'm taking it all back."
Deng Tianxin's Adam's apple bobbed as he looked up at her. "Nana, calm down... mm."
Before he could finish, she lowered her head and kissed him.
Gu Yuena kissed without any skill, fierce and urgent, as though she wanted to vent every bit of grievance and resentment she had accumulated over the years.
