Cai'er set out to sea with Xiaobai to find her brother, but neither initially knew which route his ship had taken. After Bo Saixi arranged for sea soul beasts to attack Cai'er and Xiaobai later found the correct course, Cai'er finally spotted her brother's ship and hurried toward it.

• Cai'er and Xiaobai realized they did not know which route her brother had taken, so Xiaobai left her on a deserted island while he sought help.
• Xiaobai met Bo Saixi, who revealed that she had arranged the trip and told him to wait until dark before returning to Cai'er.
