History
Heart Demon Oath
During the debate over imposing a Heart Demon Oath on the gods, the God of Light exchanges a frightened glance with the Water God. Neither is willing to support the proposal, which would bind deities to the God Realm under threat of losing their divine positions and souls 62 63.
After the Water God defects, Cao Xiyu sends Heaven-Deceiving Talismans to the God of Light, Goddess of Life, and God of Goodness. The talismans can dissolve the oath, and their arrival reassures the God of Light that he has not forgotten her. The assembled gods subsequently complete the collective oath of loyalty 63.
Exposure and Escape
