Background / History
Tang San is a transmigrated genius outer disciple of the Tang Sect. In Holy Soul Village, he maintains a dawn routine of cultivating the Purple Demon Eye and does not slack off in his training. He becomes deeply impressed by Lin Chuan’s apparent diligence and extraordinary comprehension, regarding him as an elder brother and a benchmark to surpass. 1
At his Spirit Awakening Ceremony, Tang San initially manifests Blue Silver Grass and is disappointed by what appears to be a weak martial soul. He later confides in Lin Chuan that he possesses a second martial soul, the Haotian Hammer. Tang Hao teaches him the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique for three months before Tang San leaves for Nuoding City. 1 3
During his years of growth, Tang San steadily turns the perceived limitations of Blue Silver Grass into strengths. Lin Chuan’s guidance leads him toward combining his martial soul, Tang Sect techniques, and hidden weapons rather than treating them as separate disciplines. 43 82
Tang San eventually learns that his mother, Ah Yin, is a hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor soul beast who sacrificed herself for Tang Hao. After receiving her right leg bone, he gains powerful inherited abilities and reaches level 60. 218
Following the revelations about Tang Hao, the Clear Sky Sect, and the four great clans, Tang San resolves to reunite the clans and oppose Spirit Hall. He later enters Slaughter City to temper himself, where he fights under disguises, absorbs Asura God power from resentful phantoms, and pursues the Hell Road. 226 230 251 253
Personality
Tang San is disciplined, observant, and intensely committed to self-improvement. He trains daily, studies opponents carefully, and adapts his methods when conventional approaches fail. Even while pressured by stronger enemies, he tends to conserve resources and seek the most efficient opening. 1 43 259
His relationship with Lin Chuan strongly shapes his ambitions. Tang San admires Lin Chuan to an exceptional degree, trusts his judgment, and repeatedly interprets difficult situations as tests meant to push him forward. His desire to catch up to—and eventually surpass—Lin Chuan motivates several major breakthroughs. 74 79 153 218
He is also fiercely loyal to those he considers family. He accepts Titan as a grandfather, promises to protect the Strength Clan, and resolves to confront Spirit Hall after learning of his father’s and sect’s history. 97 226 227
