This book won't go on hiatus. I'm definitely aiming to finish it, and I've got the whole outline worked out. Judging by the outline, though, it should wrap up at around 500,000 to 600,000 words, so I wanted to give you a heads-up in advance. This book doesn't have that many bells and whistles, so it's only natural that it'll be a bit shorter.
Still, I'm really not happy with what I've written. This book is basically a half-invincible genius story written to cater to the market, and it doesn't feel like my style at all—it's not abstract or imaginative enough. I've thought about it over the past few days, and there are already plenty of market-friendly stories out there. The market doesn't need one more from me. Once this book is finished, I'll go back to writing in my comfort zone.
That's actually why I switched accounts: I wanted to try a different style. But I've realized it still doesn't suit me.
Over the next couple of days, I'll update the bonus stories for my previous book.

Some of the settings came up when the two of us were discussing ideas over a meal, but his overall writing is better than mine—very abstract and imaginative. There are only three chapters so far, so you can add it to your bookshelf and let it build up before diving in.
